After a lifetime of extraordinary love and devotion to her family, Eunice Coolbear Smith has returned to her Heavenly Mother and Father. She passed from this life due to natural causes on February 24, 1998.
She was born on August 22, 1915 in Salt Lake City, Utah to David William Coolbear and Lola Almira Belnap Coolbear. Her marriage to Dorald Paul Smith on January 22, 1933 was later solemnized in the South Jordan Temple. She will be remembered for her many years of service in Primary and her unique talents of sewing and painting and many other lovely crafts.

She is survived by her five children, Janice (Gary) Smith Hustead; Norma (Larry) Smith Huntington; Dorald Paul Smith, Jr. (Gloria); Steven R. Smith (Shirley); Delbert Wade Smith (Terri Lynne); husband of 65 years, Dorald. She has 18 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren that will always hold a special place for her in their hearts.

Funeral services will be held on February 28, 1998 at the Murray Park LDS Chapel, located at 495 East 5600 South, Murray at 10 a.m. Friends may call Saturday at 9 to 9:45 a.m. prior to services. Viewing on Friday at 7 to 9 p.m. at Memorial Estates, 5850 South 900 East, Murray, Utah. Interment, Mountain View Memorial Estates Cemetery, 3315 East 7800 South, Sandy.
