DARLINGTON -- Kenneth Suggs, 81, of Darlington died on Saturday, September 2, 2017. A celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 from 5 until 7 PM at Kistler Hardee Funeral Home and other times at the home of his son, Russell Wayne and wife, Shelia Suggs, 104 Timberlake Drive, Florence. Mr. Suggs was born in Darlington, SC.
He was the son of the late Dawsey Suggs and Ruby Suggs Plyer. Mr. Suggs was a truck driver for many years. He enjoyed fishing and working in his yard.
Surviving are his wife, Barbara Jean Suggs of Darlington; his children, Russell Wayne Suggs and wife, Shelia of Florence, Teresa Strickland and husband, Sonny of Darlington, Sharon Nobles and husband, Benny of Darlington, Toby Lee and wife Debbie of Florence and Abby McFalls and husband, Barney of Hartsville, the late Kenneth "Kenny" Suggs of Darlington, and the late, Larry Joe Suggs of Darlington; his grandchildren, Dedra, Casey, Lacy, John, Ashley, Kenny, Morgan, Shalee, Daniel, Bradley, Trey, Tobin and Ty; and 14 great grandchildren.
