Jolan Elizabeth Balog, 78, of Auburn and formerly of Lansing, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, August 22, 2018, while surrounded by family. Born in Philadelphia, PA, on January 30, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Jolan Buday Papp.

Jolan met her husband, Charles D. Balog, Sr., in 1960 on the Boardwalk in Atlantic City and he proposed the following year. They first lived in Ohio before moving to Illinois and then Florida.
