Mike Reardon Dies of Injuries Suffered As Struck By Automobile

Mike J Reardon, 74, died shortly before midnight Wednesday at the Dodge county hospital as a result of injuries received in an accident at about 200 yards west of 23rd and Bell Streets.

According to County Sheriff John J Gallagher, who investigated the accident, Reardon walked into the path of a car driven by E. E. Bonnawitz from in front of another automobile driven by E. Ludivigsen.

He suffered fractures of both legs and a brain concussion. He was taken to the hospital by ambulance after the accident and died there soon after.

Reardon who lived at 1550 North Clarkson, was an odd-jobs man in Fremont for many years. He was born in Canada Nov. 25, 1867. At the age of 10 he moved with his parents to Clinton county, New York. In 1888, he came to Fremont where he worked as a teamster.

Surviving are a sister, Mrs. William Sturks of Huntington, Quebec, Canada, and a brother, James of Aurora, NE. The body is at the Fred Bader funeral home pending arrangements.

FUNERAl Service For Mike J. Reardon, 74m who died Wednesdaym following an accident, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the chapel of the Fred Bader home with Rev. Father N. J. Newberger of St. Patrick's Catholic church officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Cem.
