Russell A. Bray, Sr., of Camp Hill, died Wednesday, April 20th at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
He was born in Wilkes-Barre on April 2, 1945, a son of Arthur and Irene Bray of Mountaintop.
He was a graduate of Hanover High School, Class of 1953, served in the US Navy, and is a Vietnam War Veteran.
He retired from the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections, Dallas, as a Lieutenant, with 28 years of service.
Russell was preceded in death by his sister, Sue Ann Larson.
Surviving in addition to his parents, Arthur and Irene Bray of Mountaintop, his life partner of 15 years, of Camp Hill; sons, daughter, of Kingston; brother, of Mountaintop; sisters, 3 grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m., at the First United Methodist Church of Hershey, 64 West Chocolate Avenue, Hershey, PA.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. or 7 to 9 p.m., on Friday at Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry Street, Harrisburg, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the Mayo Foundation, c/o Department of Development for Amyloidosis Research, 200 First Street, S.W., Rochester, MN, or his church, First United Methodist Church of Hershey, 64 W. Chocolate Avenue, Hershey, PA
