Adrian was born in El Paso, TX, the son of Alfred Edward Burks & Hazel La Verne McCown.
Adrian was killed in an automobile accident in Riverside, CA. His body was returned to Texas for burial, in Resthaven Cemetery in Lubbock, TX. Adrian grew up in Lubbock, TX in the Arnett-Benson Addition and attended R.W. Mathews Jr. Hi. & Tom S. Lubbock HS. Adrian was with the Class of 1958 although he did not graduate. Adrian was married twice & had at least 4 children. His 1st marriage to Linda Eilene White ended with a divorce, He then married Virginia Joyce Palmer-Williams, this marriage ended in divorce also.
