Jeanne McCallister went to her heavenly home on August 9, 2018 after a battle with a long illness. Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God supported her in health struggles and she peacefully passed away in her sleep.
Jeanne was born on March 8, 1934 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was raised by Gayle and Hazel Hatton. She was immersed in the Christian community that would be her lifelong support from an early age. She was an acolyte for her church as a children's Sunday school teacher. She worked at the VA hospital for a few years until she started a family and became a full-time housewife.
Jeanne was blessed with a loving family. She married her best friend Perry McCallister, on June 11,1959. Jeanne raised her two children with patience, discipline and humility.
Jeanne is survived by her husband Perry, her two sons Bill and Tim and her grandchildren Travis, Justin, Lindsey and Cody. She is preceded in death by her 12 siblings.
Jeanne will be buried at the Memory Gardens Cemetery in Livermore at a Private Graveside Ceremony.
