Arthur was born to. Harry Arthur Simmons and Catherine Elizabeth Houdyshell. He had 6 siblings. A baby sister, Willard, Afton, Mary, Evelyn, and Etta. His siblings where adopted out after his mother past away in 1928. Willard and Afton are found, the other three girls have not been found.
