Marcus worked at Verizon Wireless in Stafford. He also worked at Onelife Fitness in Stafford where he was adored by all staff, trainers and members. Marcus was an excellent role model and many of his co-workers referred to him as their “second dad”. Those who knew Marcus, were aware of his obsession with football and especially his passion for the Florida State Seminoles and the New York Jets.
Survivors include his wife, Jennifer; his children Marcus Wright and Malik Wright, Olivia Wilson and Derek Wilson all of Stafford.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, August 21 at Covenant Funeral Service, Stafford. A rosary will be held at 6 p.m. led by Jennifer’s father, Steve Zerbe.
A Mass of Celebration will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 22 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Triangle. Interment will follow in Stafford Memorial Park.
