Lawrence "Larry" Ellis Currie Jr, 75, passed away Sunday, August 12, 2018, in Paducah, KY.
He was born July 2, 1943, in Boone, North Carolina, a son of Melba Jean Haynes Currie and the late Lawrence E. Currie Sr.
He is survived by his daughter, Christy Currie Pope and her husband Matt of Huntersville, N.C. his life-long companion, Frances Pressley of North Myrtle Beach, S.C., two grandchildren, Sean Pope and his wife Kelly, and Seth Pope; his step-daughter Kelly Little, his mother, Melba Haynes Currie of Charlotte, N.C. and his brother, Gregory Currie.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 18, 2018, at McMillan-Small Funeral Home in Myrtle Beach, S.C. Burial will follow at Southern Palms Memorial Gardens.
