Susan Abraham, nee Spinner, born May 11, 1943 in Chicago, she was a dedicated teacher, nature-lover, and mother. She lived most of her life in Chicago, moving to Santa Fe, New Mexico later in life to enjoy mountains, art and the sun on her face. She died peacefully January 21, 2009 at the Robison Jewish Home in Portland, Oregon with her children by her side.

She is survived by her children, Hilary (John) McCormick, and Ian (Melissa) Abraham. She was a devoted grandmother to Analily A. McCormick and Elise M. Abraham.

She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

Funeral services Monday January 26, 2009 11 a.m. at the Piser Chapel, 9200 N. Skokie Blvd.(at Church St.), Skokie, IL. Interment Rosehill Cemetery, Chicago, IL. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: New Mexico Museum of Art, 107 W. Palace Ave. ,Santa Fe. New Mexico or National Breast Cancer Coalition.
