Nicholas Jonathan “Nick” Walker
1980 - 2018

Nicholas "Nick" was born March 26, 1980. On October 4, 2007, he was married to Kristy Scott. He was a "gentle giant". He was much loved by family and friends and will be so missed by all who knew him. Nicholas Jonathan "Nick" Walker passed from this life August 11, 2018. Perhaps the best description of Nick was penned by his brother, Zack, the day after his passing:
Brother's Message: ""Myself and others have had the opportunity to talk to many of you over the last few hours, and the theme that comes up is love. Everyone has talked about how they loved Nick. Not in the generic way that people sometimes say that when someone close to them passes, but in a genuine, sincere way. Everyone that knew Nick loved Nick. He brought so much joy to people through his sense of humor and his sincere care for others. He was a great storyteller, joke-teller, and just someone that people wanted to be around. The times that I’ve laughed the hardest in my life have involved Nick. When I picture him in my mind’s eye, it’s of him laughing, with a great big smile…a whole-face-smile. His void cannot be filled. When my brain’s defenses weaken and I truly realize I won’t see him again in this life I have an incomprehensible grief that I can’t express but through overwhelming tears, and I know those closest to Nick are experiencing the same. For my family, he was a brother, son, husband, uncle who brought things into our families and lives than no other person could, or will ever be able to again. For you, I’m sure he was a unique friend that brought events and emotions into your lives that others cannot. He will be deeply deeply missed. May I encourage all of us to bring happiness into others’ lives, to laugh at ourselves, to see the needs of others and put their needs before ours in order to ease their pain, and that by so doing, we might continue to have Nick be a part of our lives, until we see him in the next. We love you Nick."
