He married Dorothy Baumann, who preceded him in death.
Surviving are children, Mrs. Mary Norton, Mrs. Katherine Trow, Mrs. Mathilda Moury, Mrs. Clare Sheehan, Mrs. Margaret Ostien, Harry, frederick and William Mehrenberg; brothers, Gottlieb, Ernest and Frederick Mehrenberg of Shreveport, LA; 22 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 pm Tuesday at William C. Hirt Funeral Home, 704 Brownsville Rd. at Alice St.
