Mrs. Gouchie had been ill for some time and went to Peterboro Monday in the hope a change of air would do her good. She was accompanied by Mrs. MacNish and by her husband who remained with her. She was a member of St. James' church and guild and of Cleveland chapter, O. E. S. she was treasurer and chaplain of the order until her health failed.
Surviving besides her husband are two daughters, Mrs. Louise Souders and Mrs. Floyd Bonneau, Sherrill; one sister, Mrs. Eugene Cuvelier, Kane, Pa., and two brothers, A. C. Humes of Syracuse and Alexander Humes of Wellsboro, Pa., grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
