James J. Surrette
Funeral services for James J. Surrette were held from the residence of his brother, John Surrette, 26 Bartley St, yesterday morning, and a high mass of requiem was celebrated in St. Joseph's Church and nin o'clock by the Rev. William L. Keville. Many relatives and friends attended the service and there were many floral tributes and spiritual bouquets. The bearers were Harold Surrette, Frank Surrette, Roy Surrette, Edward Halloran, Harold Halloran, and Francis White. Burial was in Forest Glade Cemetery, Montrose, and Funeral Director John T. Stringer was in charge.
