E. R. Surrette Passes Away
Edmund R. Surrette, age 70, of Wakefield ave, passed away yesterday, at a local convalescent home. Mr. Surrette was a carpenter and fisherman and had resided in Wakefield from time to time for nearly 40 years. He was born in Nova Scotia, the son of Sylvine and Rose (Doucette) Surrette.
He is survived by two brothers, John L. Surrette of Wakefield and Louis Surrette of Arlington, and two sisters, Mrs. Rose Halloran of Wakefield and Mrs. Samuel Gerrior of Nova Scotia.
Funeral services will be held at the home of his sister, Mrs. Rose Halloran, 47 Crescent st, Wednesday morning at 8:15, followed by a funeral mass at St. Joseph's Church at 9 a. m.
