Cecil Abstance, 64, of 7628 Stone St., died Friday. Born in Orangeburg County, he was a retired mechanic and a member of the Columbia Regional [Original] Freewill Baptist Church.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Janie Mae Lloyd Abstance; a step-son, Henry Marvin Hickman of Sumter; sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Owens of Williston, Mrs. Lillian RobertsHendersonville, Tenn. and Nellie Black of West Columbia.
Services will be held at 3pm Sunday at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
