Blaine H. Alexander, 88, retired owner of Southwestern General Insurance Agency, died March 16, 1984 in Sun City.
Mr. Alexander was born in Heber City, Utah and moved to Arizona in 1920. He operated the insurance company for 36 years, retiring in 1966. He was a member of Phoenix Rotary 100. He was a bishop in the Phoenix 3rd Ward, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was a counselor in the Phoenix Stake Presidency.
Survivors include his wife, Juna; daughters, Karen M. Webb and Margaret Thrush; sons, Blaine H. Jr., Charles M., and John T.; 30 grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. today at the Phoenix 16th Ward Chapel. Memory Lawn Mortuary made arrangements.
