CHARLES LENTS DIES

After an illness of five weeks from tuberculosis Charles Lents, of Cannelburg, who formerly lived in Loogootee, died Tuesday evening at 7:20 o'clock. He was twenty-eight years old.

He leaves his wife, who was Miss Alla Carrico, and four small children; John Thelma, Helen and Angella. He also leaves his father John R. Lents and one brother, George C. Lents of Loogootee.

Funeral services were held Thursday morning at 9 o'clock at Cannelburg the body was brought here for burial in St. John's cemetery.

Charles E. Lents, whose occupation was that of a coal miner and glass worker, died at his home in Cannelburg at 7:30 Tuesday night of tuberculosis after long suffering. He was twenty-eight years old and leaves a widow and four little children – John, Thelma, Helen and Angelia – the eldest only five years, the youngest but three months old. He also leaves a father, John R. Lents and one brother, George C. Lents. Funeral Thursday at 9 a.m. Services at All Saints church in Cannelburg. Burial at Loogootee.
