James Larry Woodall, age 71 of Decherd, passed away on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
A native of Franklin County, he was born on November 15, 1946 to the late Albert Dewey and Johnnie Estella (Whitaker) Woodall. Larry served in the United States Army, and then returned home to become a lifelong farmer.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his infant son, William Chad Woodall; and siblings, Wendell Woodall, Charles Woodall, John Woodall, Seleta Woodall, Mary Ellen Trussell, and Helen Gipson.
Larry is survived by his loving wife of fifty years, Faye Brown Woodall; son, Kevin Woodall; grandchildren, Lane and Cole Woodall; siblings, Margarett (Terry) Holder, and Mildred Patterson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5-8 pm on Monday, August 6, 2018 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with Brother Ralph Hart officiating.
