Their first child, Mary, born c1787, was born in Rutherford Co., North Carolina.
The family then moved to Glasgow, Barren County, Kentucky, which is where eight children were born to them. They were:

Sarah "Sally", b. Mar 26, 1800
Jacob Ellis, b. Oct 31, 1801
Johnathan, b. c1802 and
Willis Presnell, b. Jun 30, 1805.
The family's final move was to Greene County, Illinois where they lived on a farm they named Green Hill Farm. Ellis was bequeathed the farm when his father died on December 6, 1844. He was buried on the farm on December 10, 1844. Rachel died within two years, some time in 1846. She was buried by her husband on the family's homestead. Other family members buried there are their son, Willis Presnell Davidson, Sr. who died in 1851, his wife, Elizabeth Lovelace, who died in 1874, and John Davidson, Jr. who died Sep 10, 1838. May they all Rest in Peace.
