Lois Joann Remek died in J.C. Blair Hospital, Huntingdon, on November 10, 2005. Born March 7, 1926 in Mount Union, she was a daughter of Charles Brandon "Ike" Cunningham and Kathleen (Longacre) Cunningham. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Kay Rosenberry, brother Fred Cunningham, and nephew Bill Rosenberry. She is survived by her husband John J. Remek and one sister, Mrs. Phyllis Cindric of Somerset; also survived by 5 nieces and nephews, along with 13 great-nieces and great-nephews.
