Born Sept. 26, 1923, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late J. Robert and M. Rae (Irvin) Peck.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her first husband, Max E. Corkins Sr. in 1987; second husband, Dr. Joseph S. Caton, in 1995; and her brother, Robert Peck. She was the last of her immediate family.
Ednalue is survived by: children, Max E. Corkins Jr., Catherine Gutshall and husband, Brian, and Garth Andrew Corkins and wife, Tammy, all of Lewistown; stepdaughters, Colleen Peruo and husband, Patrick, of New Jersey, and Maureen Durst and husband, Scott, of Lewistown; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grand- daughters.
She graduated from Lewistown High School, Class of 1941.
She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Lewistown.
She, along with husband Max, owned and operated Corkins Restaurant in downtown Lewistown from 1952 to 1983. Ednalue loved spending time with her family and was a lover of all God’s furry creatures. A viewing will be held from 1 to 2 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2018, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 106 N. Dorcas St., Lewistown. A Mass of Christian Burial service will follow at 2 p.m., at the church, with Father Jayaseelan Amalanthan officiating.
Interment will take place at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Lewistown.
