b. also known as 'Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill', more specifically the 'RAINEY FARM' on Lexington Rd (where his family settle aft 1788) in 'Shaker Bend' of the KY River, near Harrodsburg. Elijah & his other 9 SIBS were all b. on 'Rainey Farm'.

SPOUSES- 1st m. 11-3-1825 to Mary E. McMurtry, 2 kids; 2nd m. 10-15-1835 to Mary Neville Holtzclaw, 6 kids; both in Mercer Co. KY.

Occupation- Merchant.
