Paul Payne, age 77 of Trenton, passed away at his home on Friday, August 3, 2018. Paul was born in Mt. Vernon, Kentucky on August 12, 1940 to Tead and Sara Lou "Demi" Payne. Paul was a loving husband who loved the lord, also one of the sweetest, kindest and most generous of men that had a smile that captured your heart. Paul worked as a truck driver for many years. He had a love for restoring old cars, breakfast at McDonalds and spending time with his family and anyone who met Paul had a lifelong friend. On Dec. 16, 1972 in Hamilton he married Florena Riley the love of his life.
Paul is survived by his wife of 46 years, Florena Payne; six children, Darla Turner, Lisa Ledger, Sheila (Jeffery) Markland, Diane (Tim) Garrison, Leonard (Nicole) Hensley, Paul (Melissa) Hensley; one brother, Letcher (Shirley) Payne; 27 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Paul was preceded in death by his parents; and one daughter, Chrissy Caudill; 8 brothers and 4 sisters; son-in-law, Christopher Ledger
Visitation (wake) will be held on Friday August 10, 2018 from 6:00PM to 8:00AM at Power House of Praise, 1720 West Elkton Rd., Hamilton OH, 45013. Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave. Hamilton, OH, on Saturday August 11, 2018 at 11:00AM with Rev. James Asher officiating. Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park.
