Marilyn Marshall of Frankfort, Kentucky and formerly of Lee City, Kentucky, departed this life Thursday, August 2, 2018 at the age of 63 years, 1 month and 18 days. She was a daughter of the late Darlie E. and Ollie Mae Whitley Sallie, born in Wolfe County, Kentucky on June 15, 1955. She was a former state government employee in the personnel department. She is survived by two sons, Kevin Kent Marshall and Brandon Marshall and wife, Samantha, both of Frankfort, Kentucky; five grandchildren; one brother, Ronald Sallie of Frankfort, Kentucky; and one sister, Nadine Jones and husband, Gary D. of Frankfort, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her parents, Darlie E. and Ollie Mae Whitley Sallie. She also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Pallbearers will be: Gary D. Jones, Ronald Sallie, Kevin Marshall and Eric Howard.
