She was born on July 26, 1938 in Marion County, Kentucky. Mrs. Howell was a homemaker.

Parents: Noah Lee and Flossie Garrett Tungate.
Daughter: Kim Bradshaw.
Grandson: Matt Colvin.
Sister: Evelyn Heistand.
Brother: Jasper Tungate.
Survivors include:
Three Sons: David Edwards, Ralph Edwards, Steve Edwards—All of Lebanon, KY.
Daughter: Vivian Colvin—Lebanon, KY.
