Mike (James Michael) Kaufman passed on to greener pastures on July 19, 2018, after a losing battle with cancer.

He enjoyed many different hobbies, including gardening and yard work, metalworking and fabrication, four-wheel riding, chopping firewood and enjoying the outdoors.

He also enjoyed visitors of all types, including family, friends near and far, and his pet squirrels that kept him and the neighbor dog entertained.

Mike graduated from Lewiston High School in 1967 and married Phyllis Mitchell on Nov. 7, 1970.

Together, they made a life in Genesee, having three children: Shawna, Michelle, and Jim.

Survivors names omitted per findagrave policy.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Cletus and Mamie (Keough) Kaufman.

Rosary services will be at 11 a.m. Aug. 30, 2018, at All Saints Catholic Church in Lewiston, with a funeral service following at 11:30 a.m.

A dinner will follow the funeral service at All Saints.
