Denver Arden Hardman, 83, of Austin, passed away July 31, 2018 in Little Rock, Arkansas.  He was born March 8, 1935 in Buckhannon, West Virginia to the late Ustus and Selma Simons Hardman.  Denver retired from the United States Air Force as a Tech Sergeant after twenty years of service to his country.  After his career in the military, he worked twenty years for the Arkansas Highway Department. Denver raised cattle, trained horses, and enjoyed going to the sale barns in Beebe, Conway and Searcy.  He went to Walmart every day and parked in the same row every time.  He loved hunting, fishing and dancing.  His favorite dance was the “Hardman Stomp”.  He will be missed by all who knew him and remembered for being a hard worker.  Denver was preceded in death by his son, Richard Teal.

Survivors include his wife, Zel Dean Hardman of the home; children, Terry Hardman, James (Lisa) Hardman, Olan Teal and Troy (Melanie) Teal; daughter-in-law, Annette Teal; siblings, Dencie Preston of Homestead, Florida, Karen Bennett of Buckhannon, West Virginia and Carl Hardman of Delaware; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 6, 2018 at Moore’s Cabot Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Harper officiating.  Interment will be 12:00 p.m. after service at Arkansas State Veteran’s Cemetery.
