Janice Marie LeBlanc Wallace, 80, of Baytown, passed away Saturday, July 28, 2018, at the San Jacinto Methodist Hospital in Baytown.

Janice was born August 6, 1937 in Baytown, to parents; Louis LeBlanc and Bertha Tauch LeBlanc, and she was a lifelong resident of Baytown. She was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School class of 1955, attended Sam Houston State University, a retired insurance administrative assistant, and member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and Catholic Daughters. She also enjoyed bowling, cooking, photography, her favorite shows were August Rush and The Good Doctor, music of all kinds except country, babysitting, and especially spending time with her grandchildren. Janice was very involved in planning her class reunions for the Robert E. Lee class of 1955 alumni, she never met a stranger, remembered birthdays and loved giving birthday cards, she remembered everyone she met and recognized faces everywhere she went. Janice’s smile would always light up the room!

Mrs. Wallace was preceded in death by her parents and husband: John David Wallace.

She is survived by her children: David Kent Wallace and wife Sandra, Anne Marie Krenek and husband Terry, and Susan Michelle Wooten and husband David, siblings: Suzanne Mackert, Michael LeBlanc and Debbie, and Mary Jane Warren and husband Porter, grandchildren: Colton, Cameron, and Connor Krenek, Brittany, Jacob, John, and Bailee Wooten, and Chris Walker, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and her beloved dog: Prissy.

The Wallace family would like to express their gratitude to the many caregivers of Rollingbrook Rehabilitation, for their care given to Janice.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., with rosary services at 6 p.m., Wednesday, at the Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 2, 2018, at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Baytown with interment following at 2:00 p.m., at the San Jacinto Memorial Park in Houston.
