Margaret Schmitz, 70, wife of August Schmitz, died at her home of pneumonia Friday.
Mrs. Schmitz was born in Germany, but had been a resident of Council Bluffs for the last forty-three years. She was a member of the Altar society of St. Peter's church.
She is survived by her husband, three sons, Herman, Henry and Leo, all of Council Bluffs; two daughters, Mrs. D.L. Bundy of Council Bluffs and Helen, at home; one sister, Mrs. Paul Ziesch of The Dalles, Ore., and eight grandchildren.
