Mrs. Alma Miller, 79, died 5 p.m. Thursday in Christ Community Hospital, Oak Lawn, Illinois.
She formerly lived at 802 Warden St., West Frankfort, but for the past few years had been making her home with her daughter, Mrs. James Sanders of Chicago. She was born Oct. 8, 1889, the daughter of Jesse and Mary Jane Haggard Hanes. Her husband, Logan, died in April, 1966.
Besides her daughter, she leaves a sister, Mrs. C. A. Waller of West Frankfort, and a grandson, Jimmy.
Services were held at Stone Funeral Home with the Rev. Floyd Jent officiating.
