Carolyn Allen Jewell, 81, of Spartanburg went home to be with her Lord Thursday, July 26, 2018.
Native of Pacolet, SC, daughter of the late Jesse Doyle and Lucille Lee Allen.
An outgoing, hardworking, Christian lady who loved her family very much and was of the Baptist faith; loved shopping, music and the beach.
Left to cherish her memory are one son, Jeffery Chris (Emily) White of Boiling Springs; two daughters, Iris Suzanne (Danny) Vanderford of Spartanburg and Pam Elaine Galloway of Okatie, SC; four grandchildren, Jessica (Robert) Bailey, Joey (Tiffannee) Hardin, Allie (Caleb) Thrower and Corey (Brittany) White; and five great-grandchildren, Jordan Bailey, Caleb Hardin, Talia Hardin, Bane Thrower and Cooper White.
The family received friends Saturday, July 28, 2018 from 3:00 - 7:00 PM at the home of her son, Chris White, 556 Marchbanks Road, Boiling Springs, SC 29316.
In lieu of flowers, memorials could be made to SC Commission for the Blind, 620 N. Main St., Greenville, SC 29601.
The family extended their thanks to all of the Angels from Valley Falls Terrace and Homestead Hospice, as well as Glaucoma Specialist, Dr. David Berry.
