Mrs. Elizabeth Burkhart died Sunday night at her home southwest of town, and was buried in the Burlingame cemetery. The funeral services were held in the K.P. Hall under the auspices of the Catholic Church, of which she was a member. Mrs. Burkhart was born in Cologne, Germany, October 22, 1845. She came to Kansas in 1883, settling at Scranton she married Edward Burkhart, who survives her. She was a good woman and leaves many friends to regret their loss. Feb 11, 1914.
