Walter "Tony" Altmayer Walter "Tony" Altmayer, 76, died September 7, 2005 in Stuart, Florida. Mr. Altmayer was born in Chicago, Illinois and moved to Port St. Lucie in 1991 coming from Mt. Prospect, Illinois.
Prior to retirement, he was a sales representative for a steel company.
Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Eda Altmayer of Port St. Lucie, FL; sons, Larry Altmayer and wife Liz of Elgin, IL, John Altmayer and wife Jane of Round Lake Beach, IL, Brian Altmayer and wife Janice of Arlington Heights, IL, Mark Altmayer and wife Kim of Geneva, IL and Mike Altmayer and wife Cindy of Geneva, IL; step-daughter, Debra Sutherland and husband Danny of White City, FL; step-son, Mark Luciani and wife Carol of Peoria, AZ; and 17 grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Martin & St. Lucie, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997.
Services: Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2005 from 5-8 PM at Haisley Funeral Home Chapel. A service will be held on Monday, September 12, 2005 at 11:00 AM at New Life Christian Center, 5555 South St. James, Port St. Lucie. Burial will follow at White City Cemetery.
