Howard was born and raised in Chester, PA, and graduated Chester High School, Class of 1943.
Mr. Turner was employed with Bell Telephone as a PBX Installer, retiring in 1983.
An Army Veteran of WWII, Howard served as a tank driver.
Mr. Turner was an active member of Concord Liberty Presbyterian Church. He served on the Penn Delco School Board. Howard was a member of Concord Lodge #625 F&AM.
Son of the late John D. and Bessie T. (Taylor) Turner; brother of the late John Turner, Jr. Survivors: Loving wife of 68 years: Margaret Minner Turner. Daughters: Donna J. (Jack) Merryman of Landenberg, PA and Karen (Michael) Neale of Aston, PA. 5 Grandchildren, 4 Great-Grandchildren. Also survived by nieces, nephews and many lifelong friends.
Funeral Service: Saturday, August 4th at 11:00AM at Concord Liberty Presbyterian Church, 256 Bethel Road, Glen Mills, PA 19342.
Visitation: Saturday, August 4th from 9:30-10:45AM at the church.
Interment: Mt. Hope Cemetery.
