Graveside services for Robert P. Medina, 74, will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Thursday, July 26, 2018, in McAlister Cemetery near Overbrook with Lawrence Anderson officiating. Mr. Medina passed away Friday, July 20, in a Carrollton, TX hospice surrounded by family.
Born May 8, 1944 in Dallas, TX, he was the son of Carmen Joe Medina and Jesusa Porres Medina. Mr. Medina was employed in aircraft technology for more than 30 years. He will be remembered as a very devoted Papa to his family.
Preceding him in death were his parents; and his beloved wife of over 40 years, Mamie LaFontain Medina.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his daughter, Melinda Morgan and husband Rick of Marietta, OK; son, CJ Medina of Irving, TX; brother, Richard Medina and wife Gilda of Carrollton; sister, Mary Hopper and husband Jack, also of Irving; grandchildren, Jessica Williams and husband Russell, Meagan Wilson and husband Bryan, Dillon Sampson and Catherine Medina; great-grandchildren, Presley Beck, Brynn Wilson, Harper Williams and Jett Wilson.
Serving as casket bearers are Bryan Wilson, Russell Williams, Rick Morgan, Casey Mullican, James Noahubbi, Eric Noahubbi, and Miko Gonzales.
