Teresa Lynn Rakestraw Phillips, 49, of Cowpens, SC, passed away on Saturday, July 21, 2018.

Born in Spartanburg, SC, daughter of Horace Rakestraw and Mable Messer (nee Murphy)

Survivors include a son, Colt Newman of Chesnee; a daughter, Harley Phillips of Pauline; one brother, Donnie Rakestraw of Tampa, FL; and five grandchildren.

Predeceased by a brother, Wayne Eugene Rakestraw (1963-1963).

Graveside service was held Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at 3:00 P.M. at Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Paul Smith.

The family received friends immediately following service.
