Age 93, of Turtle Creek, passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2013.
Beloved wife of the late Ralph W. Shumaker; loving mother of Brenda (Marvin) Schmidt, the late R. Vernon Shumaker; loving mother-in-law of Linda (Belisky) Shumaker; wonderful and devoted grandmother of Jeffrey (Chris) Shumaker and Darren Shumaker; great-grandmother of Zachery, Tyler, and Jonah Shumaker; dear sister of Phyllis Swauger and predeceased by other siblings. Hilda worked for JCPenney for 28 years in the yard goods department at the Miracle Mile and the Monroeville Mall and was a very talented seamstress.
Friends will be received Monday 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday 10-11 a.m. at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC. corner of (118) Shaw & Triboro Avenues, Turtle Creek (412-823-1950), where a funeral service will be Tuesday 11 a.m. with Rev. Larry Walker officiating. Interment to follow at Restland Memorial Park.
