He married Donna Jo Toland on October 21, 1967 in Susanville, California and then Dolly Elaine Yates in August 1975. He was preceded in death by his mother Johnnie Sewell Johnson, sister Karen Johnson and wife Elaine Yates Johnson. He is survived by his best friend and life partner Judy Oetting; father Ward Johnson of Alvarado; sister Patti Fitch of Alvarado; niece Dayna Fitch of Alvarado; one daughter Tami and husband Everett Augustine of Grandview; two sons Lloyd and wife Diana Johnson of Edgewood, WA, and Chastain and wife Teresa Johnson of Mansfield; six grandchildren Zachary Johnson, Jordan Johnson, Hannah Johnson, Everett Augustine Jr., Madison Augustine, and Thomas Johnson.
