Mrs. Sarah Wells

At an early age she was married to Thomas Benjamin Franklin. To this union was born five children, one son and four daughters. After his death she was married to a Mr. Flora. To this union one daughter was born. Death entered her home again, taking away her husband. In 1900 she was married to Randolph Wells. Death entered her home again last Friday, taking her away.
She leaves to mourn her loss, four daughters: Mrs. Delia Kirk, of Texas; Mrs. Daisy Owens, Springfield, Mo; Mrs. Myrtle Rowe, of Joplin, Mo; Mrs. Allie Armentrout, of Oklahoma and one son, Wm. Mrs. Wells united with the United Brethern church at an early age and transferred her membership to the Christian church, of Creighton, in 1906, of which she was a member at the time of her death.
Funeral services were held Saturday at the home of her stepdaughter, Mrs. Jim Coleman, conducted by Ralph Creighton. The body was taken to Kepner cemetery for interment. Mrs. Wells had been in poor health for some time, having dropsy of the heart but was not bedfast. She walked across the room, by the help of friends, a few moments before her death.
