She confessed her love for Jesus but was unable to be baptized. She leaves five nieces, Mrs. Liney Franklin of Sarcoxie, Mrs. C. R. Burns of Stockton, California, Mrs J. H. Coleman and Mrs. Pearl Gregg of Creighton and Mrs. Dollie Blanton Of Dayton, and six nephews, Alfred and Henry Wells of Creighton, Charles and George Wells of Lamar, Frank Winkler of Pleasant Hill and John Edd Smith of Creighton and other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. G. Fred Gilbert from the Creighton Christian Church, Sunday afternoon, and burial was made in the Kepner cemetery, east of Creighton."
