David Kimsey 'Kim' Kendrick, 64, of Greenville, SC, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 12, 2018.

Raised in Morganton, NC, son of the late John Vance Kendrick, Jr. and Jessie Lovenia Roper Kendrick.

Graduated from Morganton High School; attended Western Piedmont Community College; lived in Greenville, SC for over 25 plus years and considered it his home.

Survived by his wife, Susan Marshall Kendrick; daughter, Krissy Kendrick; son, Curtis Kendrick; brother, Johnny Kendrick; and sister, Kathy Davila of Morganton, NC.

Enjoyed helping people through his career in Financial Services for over 22 years, the last 17 years spent as a Mortgage Broker with County Bank Mortgage. Although dedicated to his work, he managed to make time for his family and friends, enjoyed golf, boating, fishing and the beach. He was a loyal friend, devoted husband and father. He will be tremendously missed by those whose lives he touched.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 20, 2018 at The Wood Mortuary conducted by Dr. Ralph Carter. Entombment followed at Hillcrest Memory Gardens Mausoleum. Pallbearers were Curtis Kendrick, John John Kendrick, Jordan Kendrick, Kevin Kendrick, Jake Pyhala and Tee Rampey.

Visitation was held 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Thursday, July 19, 2018 at The Wood Mortuary.
