Mrs. Alma Anderson, 74, Sister Bay, died Tuesday at Memorial hospital where she had been confined since breaking her hip a short time ago. She was born June 7, 1880 in Sweden to Hans and Margaret Hanson and came to this country with her parents when she was two years old. The family settled at Sister Bay. She was a member of the First Baptist church at Sister Bay.
She was married at Sister Bay Aug. 23, 1900 to William Anderson. He preceded her in death in 1937.
Survivors include three sons, Gilbert, Roy and Reuben, all of Sister Bay; one daughter, Mrs. Narese Ronning, Milwaukee; 11 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Emma Anderson, Escanaba, Mich.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. Aymond Anderson officiating. Burial was in Little Sister cemetery.
Pallbearers were six grandsons, Marston, Gene, Gerald, William, Donald and Murray Anderson.
Funeral arrangements were handled by Caspersons.
