Viola was the first wife of Henry Chambers "Harry" Snearline (1878-1947). Viola and Harry were married in 1899. They had at least one child together named Aaron D. Snearline (1899-1915). Harry was later married to Bertha Williams and Sybil Smith. Viola was the daughter of Aaron Onspaugh and Fannie (Shartle) Onspaugh.

Obituary from The Evening Republican, Meadville, Pennsylvania, Monday, October 17, 1904, page 1:

"Death of Mrs. Henry Snearline. Mrs. Henry Snearline, aged 22 years, died at her home, on the Harmonsburg road, Vernon township, about four miles from this city, this morning at 5:30 o'clock, after an illness of one year. Besides the husband, one son, aged 4 years, survives, also one sister, Mrs. Thomas Hershelman, Watson's Run. Mrs. Snearline was a woman of lovable disposition and has many friends who will mourn her death. She was a member of the Watson Run Reformed church and was a true Christian. The funeral services will be held from Watson Run church Wednesday morning at 2 o'clock and interment will be made in the Brown Hill Cemetery."
