Esther Elizabeth Barber Brasher was the daughter of Benjamin Barber and Margaret Susan Hall Barber. She was born in Hot Springs County , Wyoming. Her father died when she was six years of age. Esther and her mother and younger sister Benita moved to Salt Lake City in the early 1930s. She married John Frank Brasher 30 December 1935 in Davis County, Utah. They were the parents of six children. She died 28 October 1982 in Salt Lake City.
