Honore Elizabeth Potter Webb
"Mom and Grandma"
Our loving mom and grandma, Honore Elizabeth Bowen Potter Webb, age 89, passed away March 21, 2003.
She was born Oct 14, 1913 in Blackhawk, Carbon County, UT to Abner Womack Bowen and Edith Mary Stagg. She married DeReal Potter in Salt Lake City, UT Aug 1, 1932. He preceded her in death May 29, 1933. Honore married Vern B. Webb in Salt Lake Oct 27, 1937. Vern died April 14, 1981.
Honore was an active member of the LDS Church and served a mission at the LDS Church Office Headquarters. A longtime resident of Murray and Midvale, Honore attended Jordan High School and for many years she worked as a Nurse's Aide at the Veterans Administration Medical Center, Salt Lake City.
Survivors are son, James Potter (Marian); daughters, LaWanna Hubbard (Andy), Joan Hirase (Ben); eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; and sister, Faye Rogers (Rex).
The family expresses sincere thanks to the staff and nurses at Sandy Regional for their TLC to our mom.
Services will be Tues. March 25, 2003, 12 noon Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State, where friends may call Mon. 6-8 p.m. or Tues. one hour prior to services. Interment, Midvale City Cemetery.
