Iris Robins Christopherson passed away on January 17, 2002 in Sandy, Utah at the age of 86.

She was born July 3, 1915 in Scipio, Millard County, Utah, to Leonard F. and Essie Johnson Robins. She grew up in the home of her paternal grandparents, Leonard A. and Marie Neilsen Robins, whom she admired and loved deeply. On June 11, 1941, she married Harold A. Christopherson in Fillmore, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. Harold preceded her in death on February 11, 1980. Iris attended LDS Business College in Salt Lake City, and then began working in the business field, including assignments on a local, state and national level. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings including a temple worker in the Jordan River Temple. She also served full time missions in the Mississippi/ Louisiana Mission and the Sydney Australia Temple.

Survivors include sons, Andrew Robins (Christina); Hal T. (Maurine); eight grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; brother, Mont B. Robins (Maxine), Scipio, Utah.

Funeral services Monday, Jan. 21, 2002, at 11 a.m. in the Midvale 5th LDS Ward, 8171 So. Jackson St. Friends may call at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State St., Sunday 6-8 p.m. or Monday at the church from 9:45-10:45 a.m. Interment, Midvale City Cemetery.
