He was a member of Independence Christian Church, where he served as a deacon and an elder. He was an active leader in the congregation.
Bill proudly served in the U.S. Coast Guard on the USS Cherokee and enjoyed visiting Coast Guard stations and memorials during his travels. He retired from Mack Trucks Inc., with over 25 years of service in Richmond, Va.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Leon J. and Virginia Pope Livingston.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy.
Bill enjoyed vintage trucks and sharing stories about cars and was a NASCAR enthusiast.
