SCHNEIDER Gloria Ann Schneider, age 86, of Columbus, passed away November 7, 2009 in Marysville. Born in Chillicothe to the late Jesse and Besse Frad. Preceded in death by her husband Samuel Schneider, sister Marian and her daughter Vicki Ellen Wilson. Gloria graduated from high school as Valedictorian. She was a 1946 graduate from Ohio State in the field of Pharmacy and was a respected pharmacist for Daniel's Pharmacy for 40 plus years, and later became a Life Master Bridge Player. She loved her family and playing bridge. She was a member of Congregation Tifereth Israel and taught many children Hebrew. Survived by her son, Bruce (Donna) Schneider; son-in-law, John R. Wilson; grandchildren, Jason (Holly) Borenstein, Barbra (Carey) Valentine, Aaron Schneider and Sara Schneider; great-grandchildren, Christopher Johnston, Andrew Borenstein, Jessica Valentine, Samantha Valentine, Bryce Borenstein and Christina Valentine; nieces, nephews and many friends. Funeral service 1 p.m. Monday, November 9, 2009 at THE EPSTEIN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 3232 E. Main Street, with Rabbi Harold Berman officiating. Burial to follow at New Tifereth Israel Cemetery. Reception to follow service at 6011 Congressional Dr., Westerville, Oh. 43082. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Congregation Tifereth Israel, 1354 E. Broad Street, Columbus, Oh. 43205.
